1: The Aftermath

Those surviving the carnage of the bloody wedding massacre are separated and held at the palace in Moldavia to await an uncertain fate. The revolutionaries, Yuri and Warnick, have seized power and announce that King Galen is dead. Krystle, however, imprisoned in a dank dungeon along with Alexis, has seen him alive. The women are told they will not be released without meeting the terrorists' demands. In New York City, Sammy Jo reveals her plan: Rita is to impersonate Krystle in order to have her aunt removed as executrix of her father's will. While reading the newspaper, Fallon, suffering from amnesia, spots a picture of Miles Colby and is unsure why she is drawn to the name.
2: The Homecoming

Blake pays $5 million for the release of Krystle and Alexis, and the families return to Denver from Moldavia. Steven delivers a moving eulogy at Luke's funeral. Claudia comforts him and incurs Adam's wrath. Rita's boyfriend Joel, a wheeler-dealer film director, is enthusiastic about Sammy Jo's impersonation plot--and the money to be made. Dominique is stunned to find Alexis is no longer interested in fighting over the Sumatra Timberlands sale. She's preoccupied with worries about Galen in Moldavia. Krystle finds Sammy Jo redecorating Delta Rho Farms and demanding Krystle release more money from her trust. Michael rebuffs Blake's offer to help him begin life anew in Denver. Fallon tells Miles Colby she is suffering from amnesia.
3: The Californians

After a twenty-year absence, Blake receives a visit from Jason Colby. Jason proposes the two tycoons build a joint pipeline. Although reluctant to do business with Colby because of his past shady dealings, Blake needs Jason's tankers to move his oil out of China. Jason confides to his sister Constance that he is dying. Jeff is surprised to hear from his aunt Constance, who insists it is urgent he come to California. Psychic Justin Dehner helps in the search for Fallon, who remains in California with Miles. Dex is furious with Alexis's growing obsession with Galen. Michael shuts Amanda out of his life. Gordon Barrett, assistant undersecretary of state, questions Blake about the revolution in Moldavia. In New York, Joel and Sammy Jo convince Rita to undergo plastic surgery to complete her transformation into Krystle's double.
4: The Man

Jason imposes a one-week deadline for Blake to decide on the pipeline proposition. Claudia heads to San Francisco to think about her relationship with Adam. Alexis turns to both Blake and Jason for help in rescuing King Galen. While riding with Miles, Fallon is surprised to learn she is an excellent horsewoman. Under the guise of a business trip, Adam tracks down Claudia for a romantic reunion in San Francisco. In Los Angeles, Constance Colby stuns Jeff--and enrages Jason--by awarding her nephew 50% of Colby Enterprises, worth over $500 million. When Krystle makes a surprise visit to Sammy Jo's apartment, Rita, who now appears to be Krystle's double following plastic surgery, hides in the bedroom. Jonathan Lake of the State Department tells Dominique they've met before--when she saved his life in Paris.
5: The Gown

Alexis learns that Galen is alive and can be rescued if $10 million is smuggled into the Moldavian underground. Tired of competing with the king's ghost, Dex promises to help Alexis complete the mission. Joel and Sammy Jo plan to chloroform Krystle at the Charity Ball and have Rita take her place. Sammy Jo has Krystle's dressmaker duplicate the gown she'll wear that evening. Jeff, now Jason Colby's partner, plans to move to California, where he believes he'll find Fallon. Michael continues to shut Amanda out of his life. In San Francisco, Adam and Claudia are married. Krystle walks in on Rita as she's practicing her imitation. Joel knocks Krystle unconscious and announces that Rita is now the new Mrs. Blake Carrington.

Krystle regains consciousness and finds herself locked in the attic at Delta Rho Farms while Rita is impersonating her at the mansion. Dex is caught and tortured in Moldavia. A furious Blake learns Adam lied to him by canceling a business trip to marry Claudia. Blakecuts Adam out of his will. Claudia is upset to find Michael has been appointed chairman of La Mirage. The Colby family attends Blake's party to announce the formation of the Carrington-Colby pipeline. Blake, however, continues to question Jason's integrity. 8: The Decision

Searching his memory for details of the moment he spotted Fallon, Jeff recalls a California license plate and realizes she was with Miles. In Moldavia, Dex overpowers his captors and rescues Galen. Disguised as a priest and a nun, Dex and Alexis transport the king out of the country amid a hail of gunfire. Little Blake overhears Rita speaking with Sammy Jo and realizes she is not his aunt Krystle, who remains bound and gagged in the attic at Delta Rho Farms. Dominique orders Garrett from her suite and then places a mysterious call to a girl's finishing school in Switzerland. As an elated Jeff heads for California to find Fallon, she and Miles make love in a roadside motel.
9: The Proposal

Alexis, Dex, and Galen land in Denver amid a swarm of press. His legs paralyzed, the king is rushed to the hospital. After Rita feigns nightly headaches to avoid making love with Blake, he insists she see a doctor. Seizing the opportunity, Joel poses as Dr. Travers and makes a house call at the mansion. Blake stuns Alexis by telling her Fallon is alive in California. Claudia inherits an oil well from Walter Lankershim and moves back in with the Carringtons. Rita spikes Blake's brandy with a barbiturate to keep him sexually at bay. From his hospital bed, Galen vows to make Alexis the most powerful woman in the world.
10: The Close Call

When Blake decides to buy Krystle a horse as a surprise gift, Sammy Jo panics at the thought of Blake going to Delta Rho. Claudia confronts Blake over Walter Lankershim's oil well, believing it was taken from her illegally. When Blake tells her he received the well through legitimate means, she schemes with Adam to get it back. Michael and Amanda appear to grow closer as Alexis and Dex argue whether King Galen will move into their home to recuperate. Galen promises to make Alexis a powerful woman in order to use her money to regain the throne.
11: The Quarrels

Rita panics when Blake tells her that he's made an appointment for her to see his physician. Dex becomes disgusted with Alexis as she pampers King Galen. Galen tells Michael that his marriage to Amanda was arranged, strengthening his own plans to regain the throne. Michael demands that he and Amanda start planning a family. Blake is enraged when Rita, posing as Krystle, runs away from his romantic advances.
12: The Roadhouse

As Blake becomes increasingly disturbed by Krystle's sexual resistance, Joel tells Rita that she has to sleep with Blake. In the meantime, Joel takes the real Krystle out for a night-on-the-town, where they are seen by an astonished Alexis and Dex. Krystle's signals for help are ignored. With Alexis' financial backing, Galen prepares to send Michael to New York to hire mercenaries for their cause. Determined to reclaim the oil well, Claudia attempts to win over Steven, believing he can persuade Blake to relinquish control. Adam Carrington offers Bart Fallmont a handsome bribe to prevent a preliminary injunction against the family enterprise.
13: The Solution

In order to appease Blake, Rita, posing as Krystle, agrees to see a psychiatrist. But when her evasive behavior continues, Blake threatens divorce. Rita is forced to poison her unsuspecting husband in a frantic effort to safeguard Joel's plan. Alexis visits the still crippled Galen. After she leaves, Galen reveals his secret recovery. Amanda relives the nightmare of the wedding massacre and believes it to be an omen of Michael's impending fate when there is no word from him. Jonathan and Dominique's romantic involvement deepens, but when Jonathan announces his new association with Bart Fallmont, she severs further relations. Dominique is now left vulnerable to Garrett's attempts to rekindle an old flame.
14: Suspicions

Blake suffers dizzy spells as Rita's slow poisoning takes effect. Anxious to secure the Carrington estate, Joel convinces Rita to administer the fatal dose. Joel professes his love to Krystle, who insincerely returns his affections in an attempt to win her freedom. When this fails, she desperately feigns illness in a second ploy to escape. An enraged Steven engages Bart Fallmont in hand-to-hand combat over the pipeline construction. Dex is granted full building rights. Claudia hastens to Oklahoma to fight for her oil well, leaving a bewildered Adam behind. Alexis receives a mysterious phone call from Caracas, where her imprisoned sister, Caress Morell, is set free in exchange for the ""Alexis Carrington-Dexter Story"". Sammy Jo discovers the empty vial of poison, and confronting an alarmed Rita, begins to suspect Joel's deadly plan.
15: The Alarm

Galen plots to regain his throne while Elena, learning the counter-revolution is in jeopardy, solicits Michael's help. A mysterious woman visits Denver to conduct extensive research on Colbyco. Carress Morell, a journalist, is Alexis' sister. Alexis, noting Blake's loss of faculties, is ready to pounce. Adam forces Blake to grant him power of attorney. Adam boasts to Claudia, but she is suspicious, and continues her attempt to prove rightful ownership of the oil well. Sammy Jo learns that Joel and Rita plan to poison Blake and flee to South America with Krystle. After much soul searching, Sammy Jo warns Steven, but it may be too late. Steven arrives at the mansion just as Blake, stricken with an apparent heart attack, falls down the stairs.
16: The Vigil

After falling down the stairs, Blake is rushed to the hospital. Adam realizes that he has been written out of his father's will and desperately tries to convince a delirious and barely conscious Blake to sign a new document. Blake is able to flash back to the fatal moment of his illness and realizes that Rita is not Krystle. Galen continues his deceptive charade as he requests two million dollars from an unsuspecting Alexis and Dex is incensed. Elena's father is betrayed by Yuri and thrown into a Moldavian prison. Amanda catches Elena and Michael in a consoling embrace and explodes with jealousy. Rita panics when Blake demands to know who she really is. She flees to Joel, but finds Krystle instead. A vicious struggle ensues and unexpectedly, Sammy Jo appears and helps Krystle overpower Rita. Krystle and Sammy Jo race to escape but are abruptly cut off by Joel.
17: The Accident

When Joel intercepts Krystle and Sammy Jo at Delta Rho, Krystle pretends to be Rita and escapes. Rushing to the hospital, she is finally reunited with Blake. The two receive a grand welcome home, but Krystle is haunted by nightmares of Joel. Blake vows to capture the fugitives. While attacking Joel, Rita steers their car over a cliff. Both are thrown clear and reconcile in Rio de Janeiro, only to plot a future impersonating scheme. Alexis plots Krystle's demise by publishing the kidnapping story with added ""facts."" A neglected Dex attempts to force Galen to walk and consults doctors who can prove the king a fraud. Elena turns to Michael when her father is killed. A jealous Amanda approaches Dex for love and revenge. Dominique's daughter, Jackie, returns from Europe. Claudia calls to Dr. Edwards and plans to re-establish her oil well.
18: Souvenirs

At Alexis' command, a reporter disguised as a nanny, sneaks onto the Carrington Estate to interrogate Krystle. Overcome by fear and memories, Krystle returns to the attic where she was once held captive. Blake reproaches Adam for his carelessness in permitting the malicious journalist onto the premises. Fallon returns home for consolation and support, hiding the fact that she was raped by Miles. Amanda informs a shocked Michael that she wants a divorce. Fearing damage to his own plans, Galen accidentally reveals his recovery to his son and insists that Michael save his marriage. Dex catches a ""crowned"" Alexis admiring herself as Moldavian queen. Amanda later finds a drunken Dex and leads him back to his room where the two make passionate love. Alexis learns that Caress is free and enlists Zach's help in preventing possible trouble.
19: The Divorce

Afraid that something may have happened to Dex, Alexis demands to be let into his room, only to find Amanda and Dex in bed together. Horror stricken, she vows to disown Amanda and storms from the room. Krystle confronts Alexis for initiating false rumors to a journalist regarding her captivity. Krystle overturns a table laden with food into a seething Alexis' lap. Galen assures Dex that he has lost Alexis forever and now she will be his queen. Alexis leaves for St. Thomas to get a divorce from Dex. Adam is dismayed to learn of Blake's plans to put Steven on the board of directors. While attending a party, Adam sees Bart Fallmont and Steven together and misinterprets it to mean something more. He immediately sets a conspiracy into motion to gather incriminating evidence against the senator. Garrett meets Jackie and after learning her age and the tragic story of having lost her father soon after her birth, Garrett suspects she might be his daughter. Back from St. Thomas, Alexis walks in
20: The Dismissal

Blake becomes obsessed with apprehending Joel and Rita. A remorseful Sammy Jo offers Krystle a prize horse in restitution and promises a hesitant Morgan Hess a small fortune for the capture of the co-conspirators. Galen is exiled to Lisbon, and a hopeful Michael returns to Amanda, only to learn that she loves Dex. Alexis completely breaks relations with Dex, driving him back to Amanda. Blake tries to separate his daughter and Dex by tempting Amanda with a trip to Hawaii. Adam schemes to win political support by publicizing Bart Fallmont's sexual preferences. Steven protests and joins Bart for a drink. Posing as a journalist, Caress interviews Adam, and then makes a surprise visit to her sister as the final chapter of the Alexis Carrington-Dexter story nears completion. Alexis dreams she and Blake are together again. When her attempts to make that a reality fail, she vows to destroy Blake's power hold in Denver-Carrington.
21: Ben

A crisis in Hong Kong sends Blake overseas, leaving Krystle to speak beside Alexis at the co-company dedication. When Alexis publicly denounces Blake's character, a vicious argument ensues and lands the two enraged women in the mud. Although Bart and Steven cannot agree about the pipeline particulars, they are in mutual accord with their affections. Bart secretly admits that he and his old roommate were lovers, not knowing that a private investigator, hired by Adam, is also privy to the information. Garrett questions a nervous Dominique about Jackie's father. His suspicions grow when Dominique refuses to answer. Alexis learns of Ben Carrington's isolated existence in Australia. With vengeance as her inspiration, she lures the recluse back to Denver, hoping to pit the estranged brothers against one another. Upon her return, Alexis receives a housewarming gift that turns her blood cold; Caress has moved in.
22: Masquerade

Speaking at her own prearranged press conference, Alexis brashly announces a masquerade party fund-raiser at the Carrington mansion. Upon returning from Hong Kong, Blake reluctantly agrees to host the event in hopes of persuading ex-senator Buck Fallmont to reevaluate his stand on the pipeline. Intercepting a call meant for Caress, Alexis learns of her sister's spiteful plan to write a book on her tumultuous life. Garrett confronts Dominique with the fact that Jackie's father is listed as ""unknown"" on her birth certificate. Dominique denies Garrett's assertions that Jackie may be his daughter. At the masquerade ball, Bart Fallmont shows Steven the newspaper headline running in the next morning's edition, which claims that Bart had a homosexual lover. Steven immediately suspects Adam's treachery and a fight ensues. Alexis then sets her plan for Blake's demise into motion when Ben removes his costume and reveals himself as Blake's brother.
23: The Subpoenas

Alexis' surprise unveiling of Ben stuns Blake, but she has little time to relish her first victory when Ben threatens to be her fiercest adversary if their plans go awry. Amanda breaks down when Dex confesses that he does not love her. She later finds strength and reassurance from Steven, only to be crushed again by an unforgiving Alexis. Furious at Adam for publicizing Bart's past illicit romance, Steven instigates another battle with his brother. Blake also reprimands Adam, but the story accomplishes its purpose as ex-senator Buck Fallmont withdraws the pipeline injunction. Despite Krystle's queries, Blake refuses to discuss his estrangement from his brother. Blake is confronted by Ben, who has returned to Denver to contest their father's will. Having discovered Caress' sinister intentions, Alexis secretly buys the company contracted to publish the damaging expose. Unaware of her sister's actions, Caress continues to write and to fall prey to a merciless Alexis.
24: The Trial (1)

After purchasing the company contracted to publish Caress' book, ""Sister Dearest,"" Alexis savors crushing her sister's grandiose dreams of literary fame and fortune. Jackie learns that her birth certificate lists her father as ""unknown."" Dominique, called to testify at Blake's trial, has no time to explain and Jackie leaves in tears. Vying for the inheritance he was denied, Ben accuses Blake of maliciously turning their father against him. Blake's rise to power is exposed by the incriminating testimony of those closest to him. Despite Ben's inflammatory accusations, Blake's case remains strong until Alexis takes the stand against him.
25: The Trial (2)

Blake's hopes are renewed when a key witness, Franklin, admits that Alexis paid him to alter his testimony. But Franklin later arrives in court intoxicated and is unable to answer any questions. Angered by the drunken witness, the judge rules in favor of Ben, and Blake is forced to surrender one-fourth of the family estate. Blake vows to appeal and is determined to track down the mysterious woman who can clear his name. Bart is dropped from the senatorial race when newspaper headlines announce his homosexuality. Bart is relieved, but Steven is outraged and argues with a remorseless Adam. Bart's father, Buck, turns to Blake for advice. Dex offers Clay Fallmont a job on the pipeline. As Blake and Dex review construction particulars, a rancorous ex-employee orchestrates a potentially fatal accident. Blake is forced to relinquish one-fourth of the Carrington estate when the court rules in favor of his brother, Ben. Accused of causing his mother's death, Blake fights to prove his innocence. Blake tries to save Denver-Carrington, which has plunged in the stock market since the trial. At an emergency board meeting, Blake is nearly deposed as chairman when Martin Gaines, a board member, rallies opinion against him. Blake proposes a Colbyco takeover and wins back support, with Steven casting the deciding vote. Dex discovers Alexis and Ben ""intimately"" involved in planning Blake's destruction. Caress offers Blake her help and some disturbing information that could prove Alexis' court testimony false. When Jackie runs away, a distraught Dominique turns to Garrett and acknowledges that he is Jackie's father. Determined to find the identity of the mystery woman Ben was in bed with the night of his mother's death, Caress begins to solve the mystery. When she witnesses a secret rendezvous between Emily and Ben, her suspicions are proven. In a desperate attempt to raise the money for the leveraged buy-out of Colby Co, Blake temporarily relinquishes control of Krystle Holdings to Bob Ashrnore in exchange for a 100 million dollar loan. The demise of Blake's empire continues when Bob Ashrnore places a congratulatory call to Ben, celebrating their successful coup over the unsuspecting Blake. As Ben's plot to ruin his brother unfolds, Alexis prepares to present the Chinese government with falsified records showing Blake to be cheating them of royalties from the China Sea leases. Claudia threatens to reveal Adam's power of attorney over Denver-Carrington unless the title to the oil well stolen from her is returned.
28: The Cry

With his reputation destroyed after the court battle with Ben, Jim Ellison, the influential Eastern money broker, refuses to loan Blake the one billion dollars needed to rebuild Denver-Carrington. Unexpectedly, Middle Eastern financial magnate Farouk Ahrned offers to loan Blake the money for a staggering fee. Desperate for the capital, Blake accepts, not knowing that Alexis is his actual creditor. Through furtive investigations, Caress discovers that Emily Fallmont was with Ben the night of Ellen Carrington's death. She quickly relates this information to Blake, and leaves with him her expose, ""Sister Dearest"" as additional ammunition against Alexis. Blake confronts Emily, who breaks down and confesses her guilt. Seeing her torment, Blake promises to fight Ben without benefit of Emily's testimony. Feeling guilty over her cold treatment toward Amanda, Alexis rushes to La Mirage, only to find Amanda unconscious next to an empty bottle of barbiturates. Forcing the nearly lifeless girl to walk, a remorseful Alexis begs her daughter's forgiveness. At the hospital, Alexis and Blake stand over a comatose Amanda. Even as each blames the other for their daughter's suicide attempt, they reaffirm their commitment to the other's destruction. Dominique proposes to Garrett and the two make plans to marry. Steven fears losing custody of Danny if Sammy Jo marries Clay Fallmont. Caress demands ten percent of Ben's inheritance in exchange for her silence regarding Emily Fallmont. Ben agrees, but secretly arranges to have Caress extradited to Caracas. Alexis prepares to call in her one billion dollar loan to Blake to gain control of his South China Sea leases. 30: The Triple-Cross

Secure that his South China Sea leases will cover him, Blake purchases increasing amounts of Colbyco stock. Taking advantage of his precarious situation, Alexis falsifies Blake's oil production figures. Blake is faced with financial ruin when Chinese Oil Minister Han accuses him of cheating and intimates that the leases may no longer be extended to him. Dex reveals Ben's suspicious past to Alexis. Disregarding the warning, Alexis, along with Blake, falls prey to Ben's treachery. Using the court scandal and ""Sister Dearest"" to blacken the reputations of the Denver-Carrington and Colbyco powers, Ben gains sole control of the South China Sea leases. Steven attempts to investigate Adam's guarded files, but the records are destroyed before he can uncover the secret he knows his brother is hiding. Dominique makes wedding plans. Passionate feelings grow when Sammy Jo and Clay spend a candlelit evening together.

Blake is shocked when newspaper headlines announce Ben's acquisition of the South China Sea leases. Sure of Ben and Alexis' collusion, Blake greets the co-conspirators with copies of ""Sister Dearest,"" which he vengefully hands out to the hungry press. Claudia informs Blake that while ill, he gave Adam power of attorney to turn the Lankershim One oil well over to her. Disturbed that the well is nearly dry, Claudia becomes lost in a dreamlike past. Locking herself into a candlelit room, she accidentally sets the room ablaze. Sammy Jo and Amanda fight for Clay's affections during Dominique's engagement party. When a vicious struggle lands both women in the pool, Amanda holds a helpless Sammy Jo under water. Dominique's happiness is shattered when she learns that Garrett was never married before. After manipulating Ben into giving her one half of the leases, Alexis plots her ultimate revenge. Calling in her one billion dollar loan, Alexis renders a stunned Blake financially impotent. When
